I’ve been drinking Green Mountain coffee for several years now but have never read the top of the box. Not sure why ’cause I usually read just about every word. So this morning I was fixin’ a cup (fixin’ in this case refers to brew in my Keurig) and there it was, big as Dallas on the top of the box. The Green Mountain Coffee Story.
As I was reading it I caught myself nodding my head agreeing with it completely. I really do enjoy this coffee so I wanted to share the story with you.
The Green Mountain Coffee Story
“A great tasting cup of coffee can give you a whole new perspective. It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and reprioritize. That moment is what inspires us to make coffee that benefits everyone it touches. From carefully sourcing and roasting the highest quality beans, to supporting small farms and protecting the environment. We focus on what’s important. That’s why we believe a good cup of coffee can change your day…but a great cup of coffee can help change the world.”
There you have it, the Green Mountain Coffee Story just as it is on top of the box of Sumatran Reserve that I’m drinking now. If you haven’t tried this one, you really should. I know you will enjoy it. Rich, full bodied, long lasting. In my opinion, a really good coffee.
If you look closely, you will also notice that it is Fair Trade Certified Organic. Not sure it makes it taste any better but hey, some coffee drinkers like to know that sort of stuff.
Where Is Sumatran
If you are wondering where this really good coffee comes from, from Texas where I am, it is a really long way over there to the east. Just south of China. I’m talkin’ the really far east. Here’s a map.
