Coffee May Reduce Your Risk of Dying. A Reason To Drink Coffee.

reason to drink coffeeI always knew there was a good reason to drink coffee. Yep, another study on coffee. It seems there is a study that shows that coffee may reduce your risk of dying. Read that again. Coffee may reduce your risk of dying. Really now. How can that be?

If I’m not mistaken, there is a saying that there are two things which are certain in life, death and taxes.

If death is a fact, and we know that it is, tell me, how will drinking coffee reduce your risk of dying? The debate whether coffee is bad or good for you continues.

The Perfect Reason To Drink Coffee

If for no other reason, you should drink coffee because you won’t die? Ok, so stand on the edge of a 40 story building and jump. Oh, but be sure you are drinking coffee on the way down.

If you think this is crazy, well so do I. But here it is directly from which says:

In two very large prospective epidemiological studies, drinking coffee was associated with a lower risk of death by all causes (28).

By All Causes

I’m not sure what they mean here. Maybe it has to do with gun control. If you are drinking coffee and get shot, you won’t die. Not sure the coffee will have anything to do with it though. However, it just may be a really good reason to drink coffee.

Drink All You Want…And Forget About The Studies

I’ve said it before, we drink coffee and lots of it because we enjoy it. Not because it may or may not be healthy or even keep us from dying. (I just can’t get over this one)

All I know, is when I brew my cup of coffee each morning and take that first sip, I am in no way thinking about any study other than the fact that I am happy. I can enjoy a good cup of coffee and it makes me smile.

For me, this is plenty enough reason to drink coffee. Because I really do enjoy it.
